Dear Friends
Bob, after a valiant fight battling lymphoma decided it was time to move on to other challenges and joys and left us on March 12.
Bob Vistorino will never be forgotten by his family or anyone who has ever had the pleasure of being his friend. Bob will also be remembered by St. Michael’s Hospital and Foundation for the legacy of support that he leaves behind.
Bob felt so passionate about helping others battling cancer, that he embarked on a fundraising effort to help fund lymphoma research, as it is one of the most under-funded cancers that deserves more investment. It was also important to Bob and his family to support the St. Michael’s staff, who create such a positive culture for their patients and visitors.
His goal was a formidable target of raising more than $100,000. Thanks to the generosity of Bob’s family and friends, $174,110 has been raised for lymphoma research, lymphoma patient education and education for the Cancer Care team at St. Michael’s Hospital!
Bob’s family Bonnie, Brenda and Brian would like to honour his memory by taking up his efforts and ask you to designate gifts to the Vistorino Lymphoma Fund at St. Michael’s Hospital.
