When patients and their loved ones are facing difficult and often traumatic circumstances, the Three Wishes program gives individuals a way to honour their loved ones at the end of life.
St. Michael’s staff have granted hundreds of wishes, most of them simple, from playing Johnny Cash music in a patient’s room to having a family pizza party or taking a picture of a mother holding her dying son’s hand.
These wishes create memories and give patients and loved ones a moment they can cherish.
For our healthcare teams in the intensive care units, programs like these make space to focus on actions that bring joy, purpose and meaning.
Your gift will help us give more wishes to patients and their families. Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you for your support!
