The 13th annual McGee-Clark Fundraiser took place on Thursday, October 8th at the Pat Quinn Lounge at P.J. O’Brien's Irish Pub. Join “the boys” for a night of entertainment, delicious food and most of all, great company.

This year's event raised over $36,000! 2015 marked the completion of the McGee-Clark $100,000 pledge to the St. Michael's Inspire 2018 Campaign.

The McGee-Clark Committee pledged $100,000 to support one of the 16 single rooms on the new Oncology Inpatient Unit. The unit will occupy the 8th floor of the new Peter Gilgan Patient Care Tower, now under construction at the corner of Queen and Victoria Streets. The tower is the centrepiece of Inspire 2018, a series of capital projects that will transform care at
St. Michael's for the 21st century.

In addition to their pledge, over the years the committee has raised over $200,000 net for the Cancer Compassionate Care Fund at St. Michael’s.

Thank you for helping us surpass our goal of $30,000 in support of the new Oncology Inpatient Unit, part of Inspire 2018!

Through this commitment, and together with your continued support for the McGee-Clark Fundraiser, the funds will be used to build a state-of-the-art facility that focuses on patient care and comfort. The 300 square-foot room will include an en-suite washroom, a large window to provide an abundance of natural light, an integrated bedside terminal to adjust interior light and temperature as well as to choose entertainment, and a dedicated family zone that allows families to support their loved ones, including a couch that folds out into an overnight bed.

Sean, Clark, Nitin and Chris feel that this initiative fits well with the mission of the McGee-Clark Fundraiser, which focuses on patient care, and they look forward to making an even bigger impact to the care of cancer patients at St. Michael's.
